The whole idea
GetMyNews is designed so that there is almost nothing to manage: no account, no GetMyNews server, and your personalization stays on your phone. Here is exactly what you can control.
Delete everything
Your interests, swipe history and saved articles live on your device. To erase them, open Settings → Erase everything and start over in the App, or simply delete the App. There is no server-side copy for us to hold.
Control advertising
GetMyNews is free and paid for by ads, shown by Google AdMob. To change whether they are personalized, use your device’s advertising settings: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on iPhone, or Settings → Google → Ads on Android. Where local law requires a consent tool, the App also shows an Ad privacy entry in its own Settings. Declining personalized ads keeps the App fully functional — you just see non-personalized ads.
Move to a new phone
Your saved news and feed follow your system backup (iCloud on iPhone, Google backup on Android), like your other apps. This backup is managed by Apple or Google under your device settings.
